Where Stories Gather Part 2 ~ Borsheim Art News

In this issue of Borsheim Art News (November 4, 2026):

** Where Stories Gather, Norfolk, Virginia (US):  Exhibition now - 19 December
** VIVID 2026  ~  Blue Morning Glories, Portugal
** Vasily ~ Landscape paintings:  Utah, Missouri, and Brazil

Dear Art Lover,

Kudos and tons of gratitude to my brother Michael Seiler.  On Monday, he hung Phase 2 of my exhibit in Studio 8 inside the d'Art Center in Norfolk, Virginia.  He is converting me quickly to the idea that like graphic design, maybe hanging art is not the skill of a visual fine art artist.  Those are slightly different skills.  Michael has continued to excel in Salon Style hanging (a floor-to-ceiling tightly grouped presentation of various sizes, subjects, and materials).

What do you think?  This show will be up and available to view in Norfolk, VA, through the Saturday hours of December 19th.

a Corner in a gallery is full of art by the artist Kelly Borsheim, 2-d and 3-d, a collection of many colors, many subjects, several mediums

Gallery Director Amanda has already created a page about my work, on their site under Local Associate Artists:   https://d-artcenter.org/dart-artists/#divi-sos-105160

As you pass the former bank vault on your left, go left at the corner.  Studio 8 is at the end of the short hallway and on your right.  My art is hung opposite the door and hopefully is the first art you will see.

This fall the d'Art Center celebrates 40 years of existence!  That is very impressive.  One of the artists I met there on installation day recently told me that one of their previous locations suffered a huge fire.  Today, they are located in a former BANK!  The main room is their international changing juried exhibition space.

Vasily Fedorouk ~ Landscape paintings

Three paintings showing the love that Vasily had for Land... a word he used in several of his artworks, whether in 2-d or 3-d.  In this newsletter, we will showcase some of his landscape paintings.  Click each link for more information on the painting(s) that call to you.

I can tell you that the family of Vasily truly appreciates your support of his artwork.  And so do I.  He was a talent that I had not seen before, especially in carving marble.   He loved the US, but never forgot his roots in Ukraine.  Each artist brings his own experiences and voice to the artworks he creates.
