     Prints on metal are great, especially for rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or basements.  Also, they are wonderful gifts since the recipient need not buy a frame.  Metal prints come with slightly rounded corners and ready to hang!

     Also, when you consider that prints on metal need not be framed, they do not seem more expensive than prints on paper or canvas or even wood that often need to have a frame... economically worthwhile!



PRODUCT DETAILS:

     Your chosen artwork image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.



DESIGN DETAILS:  This is scene from a pub in London painted with all soft edges in oil by Kelly Borsheim.  An older man sits alone, enjoying a beer while reading a newspaper in the peace and quiet of the early evening.

The Inspiration for this London Pub Oil Painting:

     Sitting alone in a bar in the English city of London, I watched and painted this other person sitting alone, an older man reading a newspaper in a corner booth of a British tavern. I loved how the light shown down upon his solitary table from an old-fashioned floral upholstered lampshade in a spotlight effect. This dark, quiet bar scene intrigued me as I waited for friends to join me in the pub.

      Enchanting details fill this blurry, soft edge visual of the night in the pub. You may note the brick walls, the large beer sitting just beyond his reading material. He is lost in his own world. 

 

Origins:

      The original painting is 16 x 20 inches, oil paint on primed canvas.  It was sold almost immediately and is in the private collection of a lovely collector in central Texas.
