Borsheim Art News ~ 20th Anniversary Full-time Artist
Dear Art Lover,
January, how does he find you? Are things going well for you? This January marks my 20th year as a full-time artist. It has not been easy, but there have been so many highs from those of you who support my work (or me: thanks for offering meals and travel ops and beds and even materials) that I live with gratitude every day.
I had intended to present at least one of my new works-in-progress as a finished work, but that will have to wait for next time. However, you may get a sneak peek at one of them here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/46600678
Do you long to travel again? If so, perhaps you may enjoy this virtual tour of the Stefano Bardini Museum in Florence, Italy. I love the typical Tuscan golds on walls, but found the Bardini refreshing in that the walls are blue! There is much to be seen there, but since Florence is packed with art, many people never have the time to visit this place not far from the Ponte Vecchio. Check it out and enjoy a little cultural vacation:

Most people are still sprucing up their homes and keeping a low profile while we all try to navigate through Covid-infested waters. And I usually have some sort of sale to mark my art anniversary. Here, I have chosen some of my favorite creations, and offer a great low price ($200 US or less!) of large reproductions to fill your home with beauty and interest. Have a look at the offer, which ends on 15 Feb 2021:

P.S. The photo in the table of contents for this newsletter/blog was taken in September 2014 in Croatia. I accepted an invitation by an artist I met at a symposium in Bulgaria months before to visit his small town in Croatia. Not understanding that he would enter me into an art competition. I created this rather abstract composition of the electric or phone lines up high on the stone walls in the village of Grisignano in Istria, Croatia. [I did not win a prize, but had an amazing weekend in Istria that enabled me to find a place to live in Umag for three months from mid-December 2014 to mid-March 2015.]
