Going Home ~ Fez Medina Morocco

In the Medina area of Fez, Morocco, are long corridors of buildings in disrepair and potholes in the covered streets. This black and white charcoal realistic drawing shows a solitary man walking away from the viewer and into the light as he emerges from the dark tunnel of Moroccan architecture.
The figure is Going Home, carrying two bags, one in each hand, balancing the weight of his groceries. This figurative artwork by Kelly Borsheim is available as fine art prints, especially for those who love travel and Africa.
A solo adventure in Fez, Morocco some years ago led me away from the tourist centers of town, looking at the light falling around the architecture. The solitary figure carrying two bags, one in each hand, enchanted me as he walked away from me, right into the light.
