     "Venus," the Greek goddess of love, is often an inspiration for Vasily Fedorouk. He has done several carvings of the famous female myth. Here she is carved from a pinkish Portuguese marble: perfect for warm flesh. She has no arms, but that allows us even more to appreciate her feminine curves. She looks upwards towards the heavens, as many of Vasily's figures do.

     Draping over the back and lower section of her legs is a swatch of fabric, not polished to give a tone difference from the smooth skin of the goddess.

     She has a cube-shaped base of green marble and will grace any tabletop.
This "Venus" sculpture weighs 25.6 pounds and will ship from the Chicago area.
