    The Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy, is today a government building. However, at night she takes on a colorful and regal stature that can be seen from most vantage points throughout the city, including private rooftop terrazze (terraces). The colors highlight the strong architectural design. She is Queen of the Night, this former Italian palace! [Palazzo Vecchio translates to "Old Palace" and was used by the Medicee family as the City Hall of Florence (Firenze, Italia).]

    This painting was created in pastels -- pure pigment -- on a BLACK Firenze-brand paper.  Where you see black is just the colored paper, without anything added.  Like all of Kelly's pastel and charcoal artworks, this one has been treated with a fixative spray and will ship safely to your home or office.
