Miniature Framed Paintings of Italy

These paintings were made from my first trip to Italia in 2004.  I had had a goal for years before that to "cop a feel on a Michelangelo sculpture before I turned 40."  Thanks to Terry Wilemon and her neighbors, I made enough art sales at my "Michelangelo or Bust!" art party to get me to Italy that summer.  Terry offered to host the party.  She was one of my sculpture students at the Elisabet Ney Sculpture Conservatory in Austin, Texas.  I had no idea her home was in the style of an Italian villa!

Instead of a typical 10-day or two week vacation to reach my goal, I chose to backpack around Italia for SIX WEEKS.  I traveled to many places, soaking everything in.  I was finally able to set up the art reception event for my bronze sculptures and many life drawing paintings that were shipping to the Museo Gilardi in 2003.

The following are small details that enchanted me, as I hope they will you.  Several have sold some time ago.  Each of these little gems finds a new home for $190 each.  Painted on primed boards of either 4 x 4 or 4 x 6 inches.

Framed beautifully (thank you, Don Elliott) and ready to hang, treasures from Italia. Shipping included for continental USA. For other locations, I am happy to give you a quote.
Have you chosen where you would like to hang yours?
