- bronze bust of a woman
- ONE-OF-A-KIND bronze, not an edition
- 13 h x 12 x 13 d (about 5 h x 4.5 x 5 d inches)
- by Kumiko Suzuki
This is a lovely bronze portrait sculpture of a woman with her hair pulled back into a large bun. She is looking down, perhaps lost in thought. The art is created by Japanese artist Kumiko Suzuki. She created the work in wax and then directly cast that into bronze. She preferred that this be a unique sculpture, not part of an edition.
Multi-talented Kumiko has participated in various international monumental sculpture symposiums. She has some sculptures located around in Italy, Armenia, and Bulgaria, part of permanent public art collections. In 2016, for example, a sculpture that Kumiko carved in Italian pietra serena (a grey sandstone found all over Tuscany) became a part of the permanent collection in the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, Italy.
In addition, she has created street-paintings in a lot of places around Italy since 2007.
