Francesco ~ Original Charcoal Drawing of Nude Man
The model Francesco is a lovely person, and was a professional cyclist. He was placed in a standing pose with his hand resting on his forehead, the elbow sitting on a tall black pedestal. I received the profile pose and got to enjoy the luscious curves of his muscular, fit male body.
"It is not important!" was written at the top of my drawing board above the paper containing Francesco because at the time, there were some stupid things happening in a studio full of artists in Firenze, Italia. I did not want the distraction of such nonsense. Perhaps you might find this amusing. It worked -- mostly.
I hope you enjoy the images below of the design between the light and dark shapes on an inexpensive sheet of paper. The last image is my transferring this design onto the Somerset paper and adding the dark Nitram charcoal background.
