Buskers in Firenze PRINT
As a street painter in Florence, Italy, (Firenze, Italia) I have gotten to know a couple of the buskers (street performers) that work not far from where I re-create masterpieces of Italian art in the street. This painting is of Francis (the French mime) and Mimito (the Italian ... Man of the Wind). I must say that these street performers make perfect models, holding still for longer than most tourists even see.
I created this figurative oil painting in January 2011 for the Salon International Oil Painting Competition 2011 hosted by the Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Art in San Antonio, Texas. Buskers in Firenze was chosen to be among the 430 paintings from thousands of entries worldwide to be in the Salon exhibition in April 2011. When I arrived on opening night, I was elated to see that the judge Daniel E. Greene had awarded this paintings of my European performer friends an Honorable Mention award!

PRINTS ON PAPER, METAL, or other:
This is a print of the original oil painting Buskers in Firenze. The image area is as listed and the beige/creme border is around the image with a white border around that, making the print a wee bit larger. You may use the creme border like an inner mat or crop it out entirely, as you like.
Also, if you would like a smaller size print, let me know and I will list those as well.
Each fine art reproduction is printed on quality fine art paper or metal (see below). And remember that shipping is FREE on all orders over $35 US.
(The word "Print" and any text in these promotional images other than my signature will not appear on the image.)
I recommend framing paper prints behind a non-glare glass, with a mat, and simple frame. The color of the mat and frame should go with the color of the print. Care for your print just as you would any work on paper: do not display in direct sun and DO protect from humidity.
The framer should attach the print to the support ONLY on the TOP edge, allowing the paper to hang freely behind the mat. That freedom allows the paper to respond well to most levels of changing humidity without rippling.
Printing on metal (aluminum in this case) saves you from having to frame at all, or if you choose a frame, you need not add glass, as you would for a print on paper.
This increases your viewing pleasure with much less reflection, as much easier maintenance (humidity is not a problem, so this is a great option for putting art into your bathroom).
NOTE: Prints on metal WILL NOT HAVE the cream border. The image will only be the painting itself, Buskers in Firenze.
These are fine art prints on METAL. The corners are slightly rounded. Hanging hardware is included, the type is appropriate for the size you order (see images here).
