I love this painting of a woman's back. Model Neela was sitting and reading, facing away from me. But I love the triangles that contrast with sensual feminine curves! I painted this from a live model session using raw umber and white colors only. I found a silver carved wood frame that complimented the minimalist design of this original oil painting. I had her hidden in my studio as I thought to keep her for myself. However, I need more space to paint, so she must make her way into the world and find a new home.
