Gemini is usually a two-faced figure, as she is here, as well. I made the faces very abstract since I wanted to let the viewer walk around as much as possible before noticing the other face. One looks up, while the other looks down and over her right shoulder. This composition was inspired by a one-minute gesture sketch of a model named Sue. I had loved the way Sue uses her hands. In this pose, it was the hand touching her upper chest that enticed me to further explore the pose.
Gemini in bronze is about 40 inches tall. Her circular granite base is 13 inches in diameter.

Gemini -- Garden Bronze Statue with granite base limited edition sculpture by Kelly Borsheim. The 1-min gesture sketch from live model inspired this voluptuous figure. She would look wonderful in a circular, raised pond with wall edges wide enough to sit on. Gemini is a two-faced curvaceous figure with abstract faces.
