Oh, what stories lie within! What a delicious tower of old books! Library of Dreams makes a great gift for book and art lovers. Stacks of books often inspire our curiosity. And what a scent that vintage books have!

This is a fine art print made from an original charcoal drawing of this stack of antique books with an old oval frame. Reproduction on fine Italian paper with a little bit of white border, unframed.  Framed professionally, with regular glass.  I do recommend that after shipping, replace the glass with a non-reflective glass.

(The word "Print" will not appear on the print.)

This tower of books artwork is available in Black and White (as the original charcoal drawing is).

SIZE:

110 x 55 cm - 44 x 22 inches

The prints will be created in black and white, as the original charcoal drawing is. However, if you prefer, you may order a SEPIA copy. Each version is printed on quality Italian paper. I recommend framing behind a non-glare glass, with a mat, and simple frame. The color of the mat and frame should go with the color of the print. Care for your print just as you would any work on paper: do not display in direct sun and protect from humidity. The framer should only attach the paper to support on the TOP edge, allowing the paper to hang freely behind the mat. That allows the paper to respond well to most levels of changing humidity. Other sizes available, just ask, and I will make a listing for you!

Thanks so much!

Framing:

For works on paper, I usually prefer a mat, sometimes also a thinner inner (and darker or colored) mat, with a dark frame.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND spending the extra money to get Museum Glass, or at least another brand of non-reflective glass.  The enjoyment you get from being able to SEE your art from any point of view is priceless, especially since you are probably going to own your art for many years.
