Original Oil Painting 'Fumaria Officinalis' (the official name of the purple and white wildflower). Behind that flower is a bed of English ivy. Hand-painted as a trompe l'oeil botanical painting, artist Kelly Borsheim signed the artwork in the lower right area, just inside the painted gold border. The plant branch and ivy leaves seem to emerge from the faux mat.
FRAME:
Painted on wood to fit into the shape of the simply elegant antique Italian oval frame. The bronze-colored metal frame may be hung on a wall, or if you prefer to enjoy the original art on a tabletop, you may exhibit the painting on a small easel, such as the type created to display a plate collection.
