Coral Corridor (Siena, Italy) ~ Original Charcoal and Pastel Drawing
Italy is famous for its old world architecture. I was intrigued by the spot of color witnessed in Siena, Italy, as I spent a day with mostly stone buildings of grey or creme. I created this drawing in charcoal and in pastel depicting one of these charming courtyard entrances in Tuscany, this one coral colored. It has been said in Italia that an open door is an invitation . . .
This painting was created with charcoal and pastels on a grey Firenze-brand paper. Like all of my pastel and charcoal artworks, this one has been treated with a fixative spray and will ship safely to your home or office. You may see an image of it in its frame and mat below.
Thank you for visiting and I hope to hear from you about what interests you.
