Compatibility Couple Art Sculpture:
In June 2005, I hired a married couple that I know that are both artist's models. They did a wonderful job with this charming, but actually difficult pose. My favorite parts are how the man's toes overlap his partner's feet. This artwork makes an inspiring gift for those relishing intimate connections and a life full of affection, even as a reminder that we should show this side of ourselves to our beloved.
Most of the images you see on this page are of the original work I sculpted in clay (then fired).
Bronze Casting Process and Payment:
Later, a mold was made of this piece and a small limited edition bronze is pictured at the top of the page. Please inquire if interested. Typically for casting a new bronze, a non-refundable deposit of one-third the total price for the artwork (not including shipping) is required to start the work. You will receive images of the wax before casting. Once you approve the wax sculpture, payment number TWO is due (again, one-third amount). After the bronze is complete, with patina (the finish), the final payment is due before the art will be shipped to you.
The price you see here for the bronze is the total: $2400. hence, three payments of 800 USD are needed to create this bronze for you. Contact BorsheimArts so that I may make a special listing for you to be able to pay the down payment instead of the entire price.

This original sculpture ships from Norfolk, Virginia.
The models were a married couple I hired when I ran an Open Studio for Sculptors in Austin, Texas, through AVAA (Austin Visual Arts Association). I had drawn and painted the wife many times and love her hand positions / movements / gestures.
