     A dazed man dreams of escaping technology (represented by a UPC code and a circuit board with wires twirling up past his head) to fly with hummingbirds and butterflies. 

     Great office decor, whether at home or in a larger business location, to remind those working on a computer, for example, to take a break now and again to recharge one's batteries and find some balance for body and mind.

 

     (Must Get) Back to Nature was a collaboration of sorts.  My painter friend Jean-Antoine Norbert left with me his experimental oil portrait of a dark-haired man with bright red background with after he left Florence, Italy, for an artist's life in New York City in 2014.  Three years later I added acrylic hummingbirds, butterflies, and some symbols of early technology around the head of the man.  He seemed lost in thought to me, which gave me the idea of someone losing his way and recognizing it.

     The size is 21 x 16.5 inches and the work has a dark frame around it.  The mixed-media framed painting will ship from Norfolk, Virginia, USA.
