SOLD.  This mural was commissioned in 2012 in Caprese Michelangelo, a private home with a room for the Jacuzzi in Tuscany, Italy.  The mural consists of three voluptuous women enjoying a dip in a pool and the lovely terrace with flowers and a view of the distant Tuscan landscape.

This mural measures 200 x 400 cm and was painted on the client prepared wall.  I incorporated a wooden window (that opens to a ventilator fan to the outside) into the image.  Also, I had to design knowing that the lower left side would be covered by a real sink in front of the mural.  I also considered the main viewing points (for perspective) to be the door to the one-room building and sitting inside the Jacuzzi.

I worked day and night to paint the majority of this mural in two weeks in September (note that the summer was spent working out all aspects of the design).  I had to finish before the client left his summer home for his home in the USA.  I returned in the spring to put finishing touches of flowers on the terrace plants and other minor details and then added varnish to protect the work.

The mural still looks new as of this writing, June 4, 2020.

The price for this mural was $10,000.  And I was lucky that the client gave me a bonus of an extra hard drive, which he knew that I needed.  He was impressed that I was able to do what I did in a relatively short period of time, with neighbors dropping in to watch the progress.

A deposit of one-third is paid at the beginning, to get started.  Once the mural design is approved, the second one-third payment is due.  The final third will be paid upon completion and acceptance of the finished mural.

Murals ALSO may be painted on a canvas of almost any shape (cut out windows or angled roofs) and then glued onto the desired wall.  This is an ideal situation for businesses that cannot allow a painter to be working on-site, such as in a conference room with ongoing meetings or in a grocery store above the produce.

I would be happy to discuss your mural ideas and needs with you and let us find a solution and beautiful design to enhance your space and help people feel good being near.
