The book includes topics such as what is sculpture?; can it be taught?; anatomy, including pictures of profiles of various cultures of people (who have unique skull shapes); gardens and architecture; enlarging and reduction; photography and lighting; studio layout plans; discussions of different mediums from coloring terra-cotta to bronze patination to stone quarries and sculpting; casting from life; moldmaking; original or fake?; and lots of photos of wonderful sculptures from a variety of artists.
